You can help the Mercer and Auglaize County Pound dogs find loving homes and have a second chance.
Charlie's Tasty Pastry Shop is now making delicious dog snacks to benefit the Animal Protection League of Mercer County. They are chicken flavored and the dogs love them. Only $2.00 a bag and 100% is being donated to saving dogs right here in Mercer County. So stop by Charlie's Bakery, located at 109 South Main St. and pick up a bag of tasty treats for your pet.
Kuranda Dog Beds
The pound dogs need beds to keep them off the cold cement, please help. Click on the dog bed to donate a durable bed for the pound dogs. They deserve a dry place to sleep and keep warm.
Our dogs love to sleep on Kuranda Dog beds, but we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price for a another dog to sleep in comfort, please click here.

Grant just came in on 6/30/09. We received a call from the Mercer County Dog Warden, he had just picked up an injured dog. The Warden brought Grant into the vet's office and we are providing all the vet care he needs. Grant has severe wounds and lacerations all over his body, his back is the worst. Grant went through one surgery already and will go through another on the 14th of July. This is going to be a long road for Grant, but he will pull through this with surgery and treatment. Grant was picked up as a stray, it is heartbreaking to see him go through this. No dog deserves to be neglected and in pain. We are going to keep providing care for Grant and he will go into foster care when able. We desperately need donations to help us get him the vet care he needs. Please donate by paypal below on this page or mail in a donation to APLMC, PO. BOX 663, Celina OH 45822(mark that it is for Grant). You can also stop by the Celina Animal Hospital and put your donation directly on Grant's bill, they are located on Havemann Road here in Celina.
