The picture above is Hudson. He came to us after the dog warden picked him up injured. He was shot twice and the wounds were severely infected. Unfortunately we couldn't save Hudson's leg and he had to get it amputated. He is recovering at the Celina Animal Hospital right now until he can go into foster care. He's getting pain meds, antibiotics, and all the love from the staff there.
Hudson needs donations for his vet expenses. We are a volunteer organization and 100% of your donation goes towards the vet care of our rescue dogs. Links to donate are available on this page for Venmo, Credit Card, and directly paying at the Celina Animal Hospital.
The picture above is Mindy at an auction, where the Amish had her in this cage with a sign saying Free. Thankfully a volunteer was able to rescue her and bring her into the APLMC. She had thousands of fleas on her. So many that the water ran red when she had a bath and her bloodwork showed she was severely anemic. Mindy is getting all the vet care and love she needs right now and is in a foster home. She will need more bloodwork this week. We haven't been able to spay or do all her vaccinations yet. The vet said she was too sick to do them. They will be done once she's feeling better. Mindy is a 5 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and weighs 11.9 lbs. She needs to gain some weight.

Update: Both girls have been adopted and found their forever homes! Thank you to everyone who made rescuing them possible by donating for their vet care. Also, a big thank you to their foster parents for taking care of them and giving them all the love.
Faith and Grace were surrendered to our rescue on 6/12/2023. Both girls are terrified and don't know what human touch even is. It is absolutely heartbreaking to see them huddled and shaking in fear. They had masses of fleas which caused dermatitis and skin infections. They are on antibiotics, received an allergy injection, and are getting special baths. Both girls are going to need a lot of tender, love, and care. They've also been vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped, and are on heartworm/flea prevention.
These girls need donations for their vet expenses. We are a volunteer organization and 100% of your donation goes towards the vet care of our rescue dogs. Links to donate are available on this page. Venmo, Credit Card, and other options.
Honey was rescued from the Allen County Pound. She was in rough shape and need surgery to removed some lumps. Sadly, we found out Honey has cancer. They gave her 3 months to a year a live and that was well over a year ago. She's been living out her best life with her foster mom and getting all the love and care she needs. Donations made it possible for us to save her. Thank you.
Thaddeus came to us with burned off pads of his feed, starving, and severely dehydrated.
